Vacancy Details

A total of 2000 vacancies have been announced for SBI PO posts in this recruitment drive. The category-wise vacancy details are as follows:

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be done through a 3-phase process:


Phase 1 - Preliminary Exam

Phase 2 - Mains Exam

Phase 3 - Interview


The preliminary exam will be conducted online in November 2023. Those who qualify prelims will be shortlisted for the mains exam which will be held in December 2023/January 2024. Finally selected candidates will be called for an interview round.


Exam Pattern

The SBI PO preliminary exam comprises 3 sections - English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. There will be a total of 100 questions for 100 marks to be solved in 1 hour.


The mains exam consists of 4 sections - English Language, Data Analysis & Interpretation, Reasoning & Computers and General/Banking/Economy Awareness with a total of 155 questions for 200 marks to be solved in 3 hours.


There will be a descriptive English Language paper as well for those who qualify the PO mains exam.
