JPU Part 1 Result Analysis

As per reports, the overall pass percentage recorded for JPU Part 1 Result 2023 stands at 62.5%. Out of the total 2.5 lakh students who appeared for the exam, nearly 1.6 lakh have cleared the Part 1 examination successfully.

Stream-wise, the pass percentage of 62% has been registered for BA courses. For BSc courses, the pass percentage is slightly higher at 65.2%. The highest pass percentage of 68.3% is recorded among BCom students.

In terms of gender-wise performance, girl students have outperformed boys by securing an overall pass percentage of 68.7% against 57.2% pass recorded among boys.

The subject-wise result analysis shows that maximum students have scored highest in languages like English, Hindi, etc. The passing marks are comparatively lower in Maths and Accountancy papers.

The university has recorded an improvement of 5% in the overall pass percentage as compared to last year. In the last academic session, the total pass percentage for UG Part 1 result at JPU stood at 57.5%.
